About Me
I'm a divorced male living in my own flat in west London. I am looking for a female of any age between 40 and 60, ideally slim, ideally intellectual. My interests are many but include all forms of music, from opera and ballet to alt country via 1950s R& B and rock and roll to 1960s acid rock and folk. I read biographies but rarely dip into fiction. My favourite movies would be (apart from 1940s noir) "In the Loop" rather than "Sound of Music" via 1950s French cinema, 1960s British cinema, and the Cohen Brothers. I have a well-developed sense of humour but it isn't End of the Pier. I am divorced and have two adult children. One is a married daughter now living near Atlanta, GA, who recently made me a grandfather; my son is in the navy, on submarines. My profession is PR and marketing, and I have worked for companies like BT and organizations such as Alzheimer's Society, as well as Shakespeare's Globe in the early 1990s when Sam Wanamaker was desperately trying to raise funds to get the Globe built. Now look at it! I am average height, do not smoke, enjoy wine rather than beer, dress smartly, slightly over-weight so would value a lady who was slim and able to beat me down to proper size. I am not sporty in any form and find only football (soccer) gets me involved. I'm looking for a reasonable stable relationship in terms of longevity but not hung-up on the long-ternm thing, and can dig just having fun without any angst.
First Date
The first date would be ideally be a meal in a reletively smart restaurant, Thai, Indian, Chinese, middle-east, Italian, French, or a gastro-pub that was more interesting menu than spit and sawdust. A date over a good meal allows both to open out interests, likes and desires. A second date would be a movie, a third a theatre.
Bellum has 2 roses that can be sent.
