Since my special someone has yet to magically appear on my doorstep…

I’m independent, ambitious, fun-loving and energetic (but only after coffee). While my rewarding career in marketing keeps me on my toes intellectually, challenging both sides of the brain, work is only one piece of the pie.

My passions are food and cooking so I’m constantly in pursuit of great food experiences—planning my next menu, tinkering in the kitchen, or dining out. Along the way, I have discovered a fondness for desserts that jiggle, and have yet to figure out why restaurants serve hard butter, or how one can survive without carbs. I’m an urbanite at heart though unafraid of venturing beyond the city limits, especially if it involves a spontaneous road trip on a sunny day.

Other likes: chatty brunches; reading (ie cramming for book club); giggling with my nephews; exercising (going to the Y or trying to squeeze in the occasional run); solitary drives; The Amazing Race; board games; friendly dogs; Hot Docs; Doors Open; those first warm days of summer; lazy Saturday mornings with coffee and the paper.

Ideally you’re kind-hearted, optimistic, both intellectual and intellectually curious, and can stop and notice the details and humour of everyday life. Chivalry and a quick wit can also go a long way in my books.
