I like to think as we all do that I'm friendly, sincere, have a wicked sense of humour and all those other things that make us interesting to other people. I'm down to earth, and an optimist – the glass is always half full for me. What you see is what you get unless you count contact lenses and a bit of chemical enhancement to my hair. I aim to be honest - especially about myself so I would say I'm reasonably intelligent, and a good communicator - have to be in my job. My jawline may be less taut than it was a few years ago but I haven't broken many mirrors. I tend to dress casually but scrub up well when the occaision demands it. My waistline seems to get less defined as the years go by despite all my best efforts but I still go in and out in the right places. I love reading - mostly thrillers, listening to a wide range of music, travel and going to the cinema or theatre. Don't go out to pubs much but probably that’s because you really need someone to go with, I enjoy eating out , my favourite food is Italian, but have developed a real interest in cooking recently but need someone to try out my culninary efforts on. I'm not in to sport much but happy to watch someone who is, sipping a glass of white wine or hot chocolsate depending on the weather. I walk my small dog both for her exercise and mine and I try to go to a gym 3 - 4 times a week. I’m vegetarian but am not evangelical about it - so you can still have your meat and two veg. My three children are all grown, I live with the youngest now an adult rather than a child and although we get on really well there are times even her company isn’t enough. It's time for me. I believe in enjoying life and everything it offers, you never know what's going to happen tomorrow. Looking for someone to talk to, go to those special places with and to generally enjoy life with.

A quiet coffee, thank god for Starbucks, drink or meal.
