My friends describe me as: Rational and level-headed, but light-hearted and easy-going. Prone to episodes of smart-assery. But above all, honest, reliable and trustworthy.

I am: A former Navy officer, an MBA grad, now an investment professional. Recreationally, a semi-skilled soccer player, a fair-weather cyclist, an open-water scuba-diver, and a truly abysmal golfer.

I like:
- Smart people. But only the ones who aren't always trying to show everyone how smart they are.
- Bacon. (And in case something can't be made better by adding bacon, it can be made better by adding whipped cream.)
- Watching the sun rise... regardless of whether it's due to getting up early or staying up late.

Things about me that you may or may not like, but might help you decide:
- I'm either an agnostic or an atheist; depends on who's asking.
- I'm a libertarian at heart, of the minarchist variety.
- I believe it's wrong to kill an animal unless you're going to eat it, or it's going to eat you.

Who I'm looking for:
Someone who amazes and inspires me. Someone with uncompromising integrity. Someone who smiles a lot and can make me laugh until my sides hurt. Someone who's attractive and intelligent, fit and fun. Someone who is naturally charming and civilized, but won't hesitate to "drop-the-gloves" and debate.

More specifically, she doesn't smoke or use drugs. She has no children, no prominent piercings or tattoos. She enjoys a healthy lifestyle and is physically active. Her ethnicity is not important, but if the vast majority of her circle of friends are all the same ethnicity, that's probably not a good thing. Oh..., and she can write in coherent sentences.
